Our luxury spa experience begins in an upcycled traincar, and includes a full team of massage therapists, spa trainers, established health consultants and an in-residence healer, to lead activities such as yoga and pilates. Healing Thai massages and traditional western treatments are available, and all therapy features locally sourced 100% natural organic products.

More than a dozen types are available – including face massage, neck and shoulder massage, signature baths, leg and foot massage, skin therapies, and classic western treatments.

Massage

TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE

Traditional Thai massage is also available. Unlike its western counterparts, it is often oil-free and combines acupressure with highly-specialised stretches. Massages can also be customised to fit the time you have available – ranging from a single hour, to multi-day treatment. They can also be paired, or arranged in specialised packages.

Our wide range of 100% natural and organic skincare products is an instant highlight of the Back on Track: Spa experience. Siam Botanicals is an ecologically-conscious local brand, with deep roots in Thailand. It specialises in pure cold pressed oils and natural products for aromatherapy, baths and spas, and skin and face care.

CARING AND HEALING TOUCH

Be uplifted and enlightened. Masterclasses in wellness are a special feature of InterContinental Khao Yai Resort. Our resident healer is based at Back on Track: Spa, and also leads in-depth courses in different parts of the grounds. Mindful spiritual healing is a ready benefit available daily, and regular programmes and series geared toward greater holistic health include yoga and pilates.

A NEW JOURNEY OF RELAXATION

Back on Track: Spa is based inside an upcycled railcar, which was originally consumed on one end by a tree. It was recovered and restored as a suite, with four single treatment rooms.

The redesigned space creates an intimate and tranquil haven for relaxation, and is an inspiring rejuvenated destination in and of itself.

Spa & Wellness

SWIMMING POOL

Feel refreshed in the tropical heat of Khao Yai, Thailand. Tucked near a blue and grey railroad style pavilion, the pool is a tranquil gem surrounded by lush greenery. Adjacent industrial wooden decks offer loungers, cafe tables and peaceful spots in the shade.

The pool is open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and is located next to Somying’s Kitchen, which also serves food and snacks to the poolside. Refreshments are also available from Terminus Bar.

Diving and oversized floatation devices are strictly prohibited, and children are not allowed to swim unattended. Please follow all posted instructions.
