Wang Nam Khiao is a large district of more than 1,000 sq km. Its name means Palace of Emerald Waters, and this mountainous area is sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of Thailand.

KHAO YAI CONSERVATION TAILORED FOR ALL

This tour is relaxing and educational, and does not include hiking or heavy travel. It begins in the afternoon at a mulberry farm, for snacks and smoothies. Guests then follows rangers into the park and visit an observation point for spotting endangered gaur cattle. A catered local dinner ends the day.
