Surrounded by the lush landscapes of Khao Yai, Somying’s Kitchen offers a relaxed setting in which to experience Thai cuisine with a contemporary touch. For this special evening, the culinary team draws inspiration from the farms, flavours and food culture of the region to create a five-course menu that celebrates a strong connection between nature and the dining table.
The journey begins with Miang Kreeb Bua, a vibrant opening that introduces the fresh flavours and textures of Thai cuisine. This is followed by a comforting Corn Soup, highlighting the natural sweetness of one of the region’s familiar ingredients.
The experience continues with Thai Salad with Roasted Chicken, bringing together freshness, herbs and beautifully roasted flavours before moving into the heart of the menu.
For the main course, guests will enjoy Korat Wagyu Panang served with Dinosaur Rice. Rich Panang curry flavours meet the tenderness of Wagyu beef, creating a dish that celebrates both Thai culinary tradition and ingredients connected to the surrounding region.
The evening concludes on a distinctly Khao Yai note with Khao Yai Fig Ice Cream accompanied by roasted sweet potato. The dessert brings together fruit, natural sweetness and comforting roasted flavours for a memorable finale to the five-course journey.
