Khao Yai Golf Courses

Lush weather, a rolling landscape, picturesque shades of green, and a mountain backdrop make Khao Yai a golfer’s dream.
More than a dozen world class courses can be found in the region, including a pair designed by Jack Nicklaus: Kirimaya and Khao Yai Golf Club. Two of our favourite Khao Yai golf courses are Rancho Charnvee and Toscana Valley. Both were designed by legendary architect Bob McFarland, and have idyllic backdrops which shift from scenic to stunning. RANCHO CHARNVEE RESORT AND COUNTRY CLUB

Bob McFarland has designed more than 80 golf courses around the world – in Thailand, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, Laos, the Philippines, Japan, Australia, UAE, Tunisia and the Americas. He designed this 18-hole course for golfers of all skill levels. The course is gently rolling, with wide and welcoming fairways and receptive greens. It also has a horse and ranch theme (with stables) and boasts a lakeside clubhouse.

TOSCANA VALLEY GOLF COURSE

Another McFarland masterpiece, this 18-hole design is one of the best mountain golf courses in Asia. It is built into a natural valley, and includes deep bunkers, challenging contoured fairways, dramatic drop-offs and raised greens. Toscana Valley draws its inspiration from Italy, and boasts a Mediterranean feeling, with distinct flora and architecture. Its clubhouse is another highlight and is home to a classic Tuscan restaurant.

KHAO YAI GOLF CLUB AT MISSION HILLS

This 18-hole course was designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2002. It is set between two valleys, tucked into rolling hills and renowned for its stunning views of the Khao Yai mountainscape from the back nine.

KIRIMAYA GOLF RESORT & SPA

Another 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus with panoramic views of Khao Yai. It is tournament-scale and stretches more than 6,400 metres. It is also laid out single-track, so golfers feel like they have the whole course to themselves.
